That would be a downgrade.
Also, people normally just "go Christian" in name, for a passport, though.
You will also likely die from liver cirrhosis. Mainly as if you're from a generational family of Muslims your tolerance for alcohol will be near zero.
Not in person but I have heard of a Muslim converting to Christianity on youtube. Youtube sometimes puts random things in my recommendations that has nothing to do with what I been watching.
A Muslim guy married a Christian girl from my old church and he said he was a Christian but it might be a lie cause he still refused to eat pork or drink alcohol.

Converting just to marry is a stupid idea. One should rather revert to follow the proper guidance revealed in the Qur'an then look for suitable marriage. Because you never know who's lying and if you are changing your religion because of someone, you can very well leave it because of them which will create more bitterness.
Just converting a tag does not make you a person of that faith. I see guys showing as if they converted to Islam in order to marry a Muslim girl. They don't know a word about the Muslim faith. They think its simpy a matter of tricking the girl's parents and God.
There are lots of Muslims who've converted Christianity, but the only ones you are likely to hear about are those who were either killed for it or threatened with death for doing so.

Nope I haven't but I don't know what you mean by consequences 🤔
