Converting to muslim?

Hi m 24 looking for some advice I guess, my girlfriend 27 f is Muslim and obviously so is all her family I was brought up away from this type of culture but now that we have been together for 3 years I want to meet her family but I can't do that and her family doesn't want anything to do with me until I convert and we get married, I guess I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice on converting if they had done it before

Don't do it.. I was with a Muslim guy and the amount of pressure and judgment you feel from the family and community is not good for your mental heath. If you seriously want to live their lifestyle, separating men from woman, not drinking, going to mosque and only celebrating their holidays and have to give up yours than go for it.. but after 10 years I was worn down and left. Then you have to raise your children the same faith and do you really want your daughters to face the same thing, for men it isn't as bad but for woman it's somewhat oppressive and I seen a few girls get disowned just because they chose to marry guys their family didn't like.

Are you going to convert your religion for a girl? If the girl loves you so much, she should convert to your religion.

No I previously don't follow any religion and it's not just for her it's to better myself

You don't need to convert to a horrible religion to better yourself. I think you shouldn't compromise yourself.

The Bible says that any faith outside of the true Christian gospel is a false faith. To me that means false faiths are Satanically inspired. When you look at what the Muslims are like in the news, do you really want to be a part of that?

Converting to Islam * a Muslim is a follower of Islam.
Just like a Christian practices Christianity.
