Because our brains are immense sensory sponges. we pick up on a lot of things, feelings, surroundings etc. we suspect that other things such as ghosts, energy etc exists. some are more sensitive to this than others. not all ‘ghosts’ are happy giggly ones, some may leave more of a malevolent feeling behind.

Because you can't see them and so we are vulnerable to a blind attack

Because of two things. 1. You don’t understand them, and humans inherently fear what it cannot quantify. And 2. They were people once, so it could be the ghost of the nicest old lady or Jack the Ripper, and they’re usually in your house. So it’s a toss up on how it’ll act.

I don't thing Ghost is scary, but it is a good band!

Because they remind you of death and the unknown

cause we don't know much about them

They can be there are a lot of factors in that.
