Why do people ghost for the weirdest reasons?

A cute girl likes me today on online dating. We were not talking very long but she told me where she worked and asked what I did. I asked what her company was cause I have never heard of it and told her what I did but right after she is gone, ended our chat. I know both guys and girls do this but I don't get it. Why do you ghosted for the weirdest things that make zero sense, this is not the first I have been ghosted for answering a simple question.

Thanks, honestly having thinking about it I'm betting she guessed based on what I do that I don't make enough money for her. I was upset when I posted this but I'm over it now

In addition for safety reasons, they either aren't attracted anymore, want to avoid further boredom, or were ghosted by someone else.

No I agree with that I'm already over it. I think I figured out anyways. She asked what I did and I told her I bet you she decided that I don't make enough money for her. Anything that makes sense but I'm not going to let it bug me anymore.
