Two possible responses come to mind:

Yes, because Christ clearly said we were in the birth pain's of the future and much of His description in Matthew's Gospel looks a lot like what the world is going through - even down to moving to a cashless society where if you don't have the right app you can't trade.

    But also...

Yes, but since we don't know the day or hour we should perhaps remember that this generation is the last one we can directly influence, so the question becomes "Why has Covid changed your view?"

I don't think so, at least not yet. Pestilence will certainly be a sign of the end times, but Covid-19 was too mild. We will also see, War, Famine, and Death (massive amounts of death). Until national economies crash, until large scale wars break out, (not nation/security building missions), severe supply shortages, and massive disease outbreaks, then we are not in the end times. ( According to Christian Theology). I do believe an end of the world scenario is entirely possible, even in today's times and with our current level of technology. We have just witnessed the sheer panic and the global economic slowdown caused from Covid-19. To be honest, Covid was nothing on the level of let's say, Polio, smallpox, or the bubonic plague.

It could, but that's been on/off for decades. I think a serious global resource shortage would more than likely set off the major world powers into a full scale war.

No. It makes no sense. Christians have been saying it's the end of times for decades. It's funny since God said no one will know the day or the hour but himself. A lot do Christians seem to want the "end of times" to happen, but by their book, most of you will be left behind.

No. It's a regular, routine virus that isn't dangerous enough to burn itself out, but too contagious to be outwaited. No different from hundreds of others, save in that it came when we had a modern understanding of epidemiology and a panicky populace.

No. Now stop that shit. Take any year in history and a lot was happening around that time (certainly within a lifetime for each generation) that you could point to to say it’s a sign of the world ending. Look at WWII including atomic weapons, that makes COVID pale in comparison… so does the Black Plague.

why would it be a sign of the end times, because it's a pandemic? big deal. there's been pandemics for thousands of years, many of them way worse than covid such as the bubonic plague, the Spanish flu, smallpox.

Was the plague a sign of the end times 400 years ago? No, Christians have been touting that BS whenever something bad happens and they're always wrong.

I think so. At least I hope so. I have nothing left to regret it. Besides many feel like the world is becoming very inhabitable place with plastic garbage sand over populations. Animals are losing their habitats and facing extinction. I am a Christian and many Christians feel that the end of the world is near.

Jesus supposed to come back when we are really really suffering and it’s hard to live anymore. People on the earth will suffer from various diseases and economic crisis. And that’s the time rapture will happen.

No, despite how the liberal media depicts it, Covids death rate remains very low. But when a virus outbreak kills millions in a very short time, then the end times might be near.

Well let's see, probably about 5 or 6 million people have died of covid so far. WW 2 killed about 50 million. The black plague in Europe wiped out over 1/3 the population. So I would say no.

No. I think it’s a cycle of you look at history this has happened before. I think it’s a wake up call for us know because of how fast it can travel around the world. That’s the scary party now compared to the past.
