Of course it’s very true because your own happiness starts within you. If someone can be happy alone is the best feeling & it’s more healthy whereas when you have a boyfriend/girlfriend, you can share some of your positivity and happiness with another. Wbu?
I think this quote is quite deep.
It talks about how you feel about yourself, meaning, your self-esteem, self-talk, sense of purpose, etc.
Someone who relies on being around people or social situations as an aid or antidote for being alone or isolated is better served getting better at loving themselves so that they can be alone sometimes.
We’re all social creatures so we need and want human to human interaction but it’s also true that we want our own privacy and isolation many a times.
You really need a happy or healthy balance of both
Wow what you shared hits me deep too. I completely agree 💯 I also believe that with life is all about balance. Lately I’m starting to lean on finding that healthy balance for self-care and self-time since it seems fo be lacking as I put everything and everyone above my own need. Thanks for this amazing reminder and wisdom 😊
That depends honestly. Striving on other peoples energy does not make you a weak person. People have differently human needs. I can say this may be true of being single vs being in unhappy relationships though. Being single and happy is powerful as hell
I don't feel particularly powerful, but I am fine with being alone. For a while anyway. No man is an island and we all need other people. But for when I'm alone, I'm fine with it.
It's bullshit and just an introvert trying to sound edgy.
The most powerful people in the world are heads of states - they are never alone.

Not really, an 80 yr old may be okay being alone.
however in no way would I describe an 80 year old as powerful.
I think it depends on what “alone” means. So if we’re talking about a romantic relationship then I agree. But alone in general like not having any friends or family then I disagree.
It's very true, because if you're happy alone you will be always happy...
For some, yes.
Others... being alone is because they're not strong.
I agree with that quote
