If someone is not loyal they will always find a way. Even they are broke or richer than before. We can not generalize all the people if we could it would be easier to live but real life isn’t like that. We can not be sure what our partner will do anytime but the trust to him or her is the most important thing. Life always has up and downs if we can not be with our partner those up and downs it is not about the situation itself it is about the fact that we are not loyal in the firstplace. So i think it is always about the character. There isn’t any reason to chat someone. If you are not loyal and characterless person you always chat no matter what the situation is.

I think it's true, if a man has everything, he could be loaded with money
and he would use his money to make his women happy, I had a former
neighbor made good money at the Steel Mill well he never gave his
wife any money she worked for the School District but that is how
she supported her needs but she never bought herself good clothes
I don't believe he loved her but he sure changed his life after she passed
he married a new woman and gave her everything so see what i mean

It’s somewhat true. The common stereotype of women is that when a man doesn’t have anything that she would leave him because she thinks he has nothing to offer her or provide for her. ( which isn’t true).
