Is Islamaphobia real? Shouldn’t it be Muslimphobia?

I can hate an idea. And still not hate the people who believe it. I don’t hate Muslims, I hate Islam. And Christianity too by the way.

i think opposed to the increasing number of bullshit-phobias that people are coming up with these days, this one is actually real thanks to bush and his war on terrorism. i do not personally attribute terrorism to a religion. i think that's wrong. i think if you're a person that's so fucked in the brain that you kill yourself just to cause others suffering, that's something wrong with you or the people who brought you up, not with whatever faith you happen to have.

i fully agree with your views on those religions by the way.

The reason it's called "Islamaphobia" is because it's an unjustified and illogical fear of the faith, not the people.

Dipshits talk of "jihad" and "the Muslims are coming" like it's something taught in the religion.

Yet it's always "I heard from my friend of a friend who spoke to a neighbours dog who lived next to Muslims once". It's just the "Blood Libel" bullshit, but with Muslims instead of Jews.

Religions teach people to believe things that aren't true. That's not a good idea.

Yes. It is real. There is good reason to fear/hate the religion of Islam, as well as Christianity and other religions/beliefs, but that does not necessarily mean that you hate the people themselves.

Islam is the Religion, Muslims are followers of Muhammad. Nobody dislikes the people but rather the waring factions within Islam. In America there is too much blind defense of Islam and the influx into Europe but are willing to target Christianity. Like the Christ Netflix got pulled due to complaints. Secular American left has fallen far from Gods love. Their Masonic God isn't the Real God
