Does your opinion of someone change if you find out they're religious?

Mostly no. Depends on my initial opinion of them and how they've presented themselves to be before I hear this. But in practice it hasn't really effected my opinion of others. Just gave me some questions regarding where they stand on this or that with respect to their beliefs.

Most people who belief in a religion don't consider themselves religion and many if not most don't really practice. Culture has a bigger role than just religion.

It does to me because I feel like a lot of people base their lives off of what they choose to believe whether it’s religion , politics, what kind of foods they do/ don’t like , if they follow rules etc. beliefs are everything

No, I personally am an atheist, but I respect people who have religions because I understand that it's a personal choice. They're still human after all.

To some degree yes. I’ll question their reasoning for being religious. And if they’re extreme I’ll inevitably question their common sense.
