There is a purpose for your life, but it often requires going out of our comfort zones and following his plan and not our own. You heavenly father know all your needs, those around you see what they want, but fulfilling a need is better than filling a want. Our choices can often leave us stuck in the wilderness or lead us to the promised land. The promised land takes 11 days to travel to, but it took 40 years for lack of belief in his word and promise and disobedience. Ecclesiastes 2:26; Psalm 37:4; Psalms 126:5; James 1:2-3; Psalm 1:1-3

No one knows anything about God or the afterlife. We don't know whether either of them exist at all. Some people accept that some old writing about God is 100% true, whether it's the Torah, the Bible, the Quran, the Bhagavad Gita, whatever. Among those that do accept some holy book, there is widespread disagreement about what it means. So you can believe whatever you like. There are thousands of religious sects and one of them probably matches whatever feels comfortable for you.

Life is short and finite, the Afterlife is not.
Would you rather be a king for a day and pauper the rest? Hence why patience is a life virtue as while you want to live, you do not want to spend it all now. Save more for the Afterlife and you'll get more for it.All we really have is what the Bible says and special revelation from God. Having said that, the Bible does address this more or less. Iโll leave it to you and your own journey to find out more. 👍
