Does believing in the after life help you make sense of the world and of God's existence?

Like we had a very kind and caring tenant who died of suicide months or years ago. He would actually message us and ask us if we were doing okay if we did not cash the check he gave us within 5 days cause he was concerned about us and he died of suicide and then his jobless wife had to move out of the apartment he was renting with her.

There was also a delivery driver who worked very very very hard to build a life for himself in Canada and bought a car and then was murdered in a car nabbing one month before he was due to complete college.

It doesn't make sense if you exclude God. But when you put God in the equation, it makes more sense, you could say these people are in heaven and experiencing everlasting love in the arms of God. And you could say the people who killed the pizza delivery driver in a car theft are in hell being tormented forever and ever. That is how I cope with death, because good people do not deserve to die violent deaths.
