All this monument represents is that human beings don't know a damn thing.

I find your viewpoint slightly distressing. It is and absolute marvel and a testament to the ingenuity of our ancestors, along with Gobeklitepe and the pyramids and a whole host of other sites. During restorations of the site, it took a lot of modern equipment to do what they did with ropes, wood, and elbow grease. It's a reminder that humanity is capable of marvelous and always has been.
yeah ok, prove it
Hell no! If Stonehenge were destroyed, think of all the tourist money that Southern England would lose. And where would current-day Druids go to celebrate?
Thanks for the mho
Per your update... If I found an unknown device in my home, I would investigate it and try to find out what it is and where it came from. Maybe it's a time travel device from an advanced alien civilization.
That's exactly what happens with Stonehenge and the several hundred other henges in the British Isles and continental Europe... investigate them, find out why they're there and who put them there. We learn from history.
I've been
i think its quite nice
but the 'druids' who do their stuff there are
fycking weird
ESPECIALLY SINCE ITS BEEN PROVEN THAT STONE HENGE EXISTED BEFORE DRUIDS
It was secretly built by modern man and is fake.
Not true. Parts of Stonehenge were restored, but the site is several thousand years old.
@AviatorTom That's what they want you to think.

Sure! And, while we're at it, the pyramids, the Eifle tower, the tower of Pisa, the statue of Liberty, the Washington Monument, the Kremlin, the Parthenon, the coliseum, and all kinds of other stuff.
Salisbury Hill isn't your living room and Stonehenge is not just some random device.
Even if we don't have certainty about what exactly Stonehenge is and what it meant for the people who built it, why would that be any kind of reason to destroy it?
What's ridiculous is your Murican attitude of "If we don't get it, destroy it!"
You must have been raised by apes.
@jshm2 and you must have a great affinity for the stone ages
Oh... Jesus will if we dont along with all that's not good.
It's a miracle the Christian church never destroyed it centuries ago.
They didn't know what its was. Besides, those big stones are really really heavy to move.
You make some good points, but no it should not be destroyed.
Destroy it and build townhouses and a shopping mall? Let it be!!
Why? They still can’t figure out how they even put stones that heavy on top or moved them there 5,000 years ago
No! It's beautiful! But expensive to get a closer look at.
Bean2k21 did you know that the earth is flat too!!! Now put your stupid tin foil hat on and shut up, go doing isis and blow up some more places that are worth more than your life.
Ignorant fuckers always want to destroy things that clever people say are important. Books, universities, monuments, etc...
But there's a robot war to happen
woah kick ass
No. It is a very cool archeological sight, and aliens aren't real, so it's not that big of a deal.
Agreed even mrbeast thought it was a boring place
I don’t see a need to destroy it
That's something that the Taliban does.
Nope. Been around longer than any of us have.
It looks similar to the thing witches used
I say dont mess with it.
The oldest of these is in Anatolian lands.
