Have you ever been to a fortune teller?

I have when i went to Boston!
It was fun and exciting. Said my aura was gold with a hint of emerald.
Said quite a few things that were true about my upcoming year like that my taste buds would change and that I'd be traveling a lot, going on an adventure ( was going to move to Korea, but i never told her that lol)
When asked about my friend's future career, she said she saw my friend making/modeling houses. It confused the shit out of my friend and i until my friend realized she was probably talking about a game she plays. My friend is obsessed with SIMms or whatever and is always building houses when in the phone. So she was probably seeing that.
It was great until she asked me to leave and tried to scam my friend out of $2-5k to get some "cleansing". Apparently my friend needed her chakras cleansed (which we can do by ourselves) and only this chick can do it. Otherwise this curse/ evil spirit will continue to follow my friend. She also said to not tell anybody (including me) lmao. My friend obviously didn't fall for it, but it was definitely entertaining.
Once, just to feed them bullshit and watch them spin a tale from it.
I know what fortune telling is. The power of suggestion is a powerful thing, but it's not magic.
No as I’m a Christian and there’s this thing about Worship no other God before me. Fortune tellers are usually Spiritualist and connect with spirits of the world (angelic demons). If you want a sample of With at Endor go to 1Samuel 28 in Bible. This way to reach spiritual world is not new.

I went to a gypsy fortune teller once.
1. It was $50 for a 50 minute sessions.
2. At the end of the session she told me that I need more good luck in my life.
3. She asked how much money I had in my savings and I said $1,000.00. She told me to get that money and bring it to her.
4. She will put the money in a holy place where the "good-luck spirit" will see it and it will cast good luck spells on me.
5. Each time it does this she will take some money out of the $1,000.00. She swore that I will have lots of good luck.
I didn't do it.
Yeah they told me I'd be successful if I took something related to computers in post secondary. Of course I was in highschool at the time and didn't really believe him. I went to university and took social sciences but stuff happened and I'm now at college taking computer programming.
Yeah, my wife puts more stock in that stuff than do I. I'm a skeptic. She paid a couple of times to have me go to fortune tellers at County Fairs and Celtic Festivals after she had gotten readings from them. I agreed to do it for fun and to humor her. I kept an open mind during the readings. She sat in on them and we talked about them afterwards. Hopes and dreams stuff.
Technically yes, but she operated out of her house, and I was there to fix her DirecTV. She offered to give me a free reading several times, but I was there to do my job as quickly and efficiently as possible, especially since I had other customers to get to, but I also understand the business model. Much like drug dealers, the first one is free, and they are hoping to hook you so they can clean you out over time.
Yes, it was an experience, I think she looked at me and told me things I wanted to hear, she even told me when I'd meet someone and what that person would look like, well this was many years ago and back when I was still trying to date and the year she mentioned has come and gone and I have given up trying to date for various other reasons and this is why I think she said what she thought I just wanted to hear at that time.
Yes, for research. She asked open ended questions and was obviously looking for info to exaggerate and then tell you what you want to know.
I even lied and said I was thinking about changing jobs. Lo and behold, a change in salary was in my future. If it was lower or higher, I would need another appt…
No! I believe that we have the responsibility to be accountable for past actions which has led us to where we are today, therefore we through our own actions created our own future so our now is relevant to our future now and our subsequent actions will put us there too according to our choices and the only way reading of a card or tea leaves can shape our future by us believing and following their predictions which is still an open choice being made by us so by proxy it is our freedom to think and choose manifest our reality of today and directs us towards our self-chosen destiny.
No, but I have consulted with a magic eight ball.
Alternatively, I have done tarot readings for a number of friends. They said it's scary how close to believeable I did it.
Yes. I went to one when I was 23. She predicted my future, up to age 35. She has so far gotten 100% of everything wrong about me (including bring married three times).
Yeah I have, it was visiting her that made me want to learn to do Tarot cards etc.
mainly as some stuff was fairly accurate but some was miles out.
"A Fool And Their Money Are Soon Parted"... So my answer is quite simply NO.
Never been to one but my late mom and current aunt went to one she told my aunt she would have only one child and that came true also she told my mom she would raise three children but that's all she could see for my mom but it so happens my mom became guardian over my third cousin and raised her to age 17 then mom passed away Nov 10, 2003, but I believe there was a dark cloud placed on us I would never go to a fortune teller I feel they can ruin peoples life's
Lol i met a fortune teller on Facebook lol none of the thing she said came to be true or by this time i would be having a foreign trip and a wife 😂 i don't know if the jokes on her or me hehe he👻
I would go if it were free. I would also record everything. If what he/she said proved true, I would pay.
Yes, long ago.
She was way off the the bat.
That's a waste of time & money.
Yes. It was a fair. She burst into tears, excused herself and left me sitting there to get comforted by her friend. Very uncomfortable. She came back due to her friends insistence. Gave me halfhearted feedback then. I should have had my $15 back.
I don't believe in them, actually i tried to act like them once before, i used playing cards and tried to do as they are doing, some how most of the card was queens and i said to myself it means that i will have a lot of options for a relationship, weirdly that's what i have now, i was mocking myself at this time but i didn't think it will be real, i won't do it for you guys.
Just my Grandfather who said "Katie girl you will never make a fortune working at that damn restaurant'! He was right but I am very happy and fortunate with my life. :)
The amount of bullshittery they spew is beyond belief.
No. I'm not rich enough to entertain myself with fortune tellers.
Nope, not a fan of inviting unwanted things in my life.
No, because no one can actually tell fortunes, not even my trusty magic 8 ball, or steve the janitor.
Hey, hey, hey! Don't deny the magic 8 ball! It's got game most others don't.
XD
No. I believe fortune tellers are real deal as much as I believe in homicidal imaginary friends in the sky...
Leave that alone I grew up around that stuff just leave it alone Jesus is a lot easier than this crazy stuff
Yes, she told me the spirits were quiet and gave me my money back. Lol I wasn’t expecting that.
Na I'd rather do literally anything else than visit one of those people
Waste of money. Rather spend it on a call girl. LOL
No and I never would. It says so in the Bible to stay away from these people.
