Shouldn’t god be female?

Women are the creators of life don’t forget. It would make sense for a creator deity to be female don’t you think?

I want you to know, when it comes to believing in god…I really tried. I really really tried. I tried to believe that there is a god who created each one of us in his own image and likeness, loves us very much and keeps a close eye on things. I really tried to believe that, but I gotta tell you, the longer you live, the more you look around, the more you realize…something is FUCKED-UP. Something is WRONG here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is NOT good work. If this is the best god can do, I am NOT impressed. Results like these do not belong on the resume of a supreme being. This is the kind of shit you’d expect from an office temp with a bad attitude. And just between you and me, in any decently run universe, this guy would have been out on his all-powerful-ass a long time ago. And by the way, I say “this guy”, because I firmly believe, looking at these results, that if there is a God, it has to be a man. No woman could or would ever fuck things up like this. So, if there is a God, I think most reasonable people might agree that he’s at least incompetent, and maybe, just maybe, doesn’t give a shit. Well, why not actually if you consider God stuff literally. You're still missing the real point as most people. In my opinion the notion of God has nothing to do with being male or female. It's a concept helping people to understand how to live a life, and avoide facing questions about why we're here and how everything came into existence. It's still very odd that something my wife often repeated sould regularly pop up into my mind: God created humans as man and woman. No need to be religious, just meditate this a bit ;0)

isn't he sort of like, not really human in the first place though? i mean i might be wrong but i think he's more of like, a spirit or a divine presence (i think?) so that means he doesn't really have a gender, and isn't really human... i kinda forgot most of the bible though so i'm not sure.

The scriptures say that God created man in his image, male and female he created him. Adam was first, and spent some time alone before God said it was not good for man to continue without a mate. So he made eve and brought her to Adam.

So the true creator of life is our heavenly father, and he refers to himself always in the male form. It does not diminish the value of the woman. Remember, all things with God are decent and by arrangement, or organized. He established the roles for men and women, and both equally are sharers of the reward of life. Without man and without a woman, further procreation would not be possible for humans. God does not require anything from anyone to perform creation, and he refers to himself in the male form, tho he is a spirit creature without gender. His angels also have no gender.

Lol is that fact? Lol couple of factual inaccuracies to point out. First, no one CREATES life. We can recreate something. Aka, we can re-create a house from materials already here. Or mold a piece dish out of clays that’s abundant. No one on earth actually made the clay or the materials for the house. It’s all recreated from something we have. Second, last I checked, women can’t “create” (well let’s us the right wordage we learned about) “re-create” human life without a special ingredient that comes only from men. If a woman “creates” life than you would have no need for anyone else, especially a man. Therefore, based on those two true factors alone… no God isn’t female. I don’t know what God is. Nor will I put him in a box like everyone tries too. Lol

It makes sense to me because most of the babies I make end up dead in my happy sock... need a woman to make babies that live longer than 12 days. A lot of older belief systems did have it that way.

It's a bad habit humans have to create god in their own image, and since it was mostly dudes creating the stories... It becomes a dude and then they'll write got created man in his own image.

There is no define creator so no point trying to get logicistical with what the made up person's gender is.
Beside the fairy tale is God created not that he birthed people. Women don't know any better than men how to create life just because the baby comes out of them.

According to the bible, God made man (Adam) in his own image, and then used one of Adam's ribs to make woman (Eve). What other proof do you need that God is male?
