Anonymous(30-35)+1 yBecause Islam is an evil fake religion created by a Charlatan named Mohammad, who preformed no miracles, and was just a stupid illiterate merchant from a small town in the desert.
He proved his entire goal was to take the parts of christianity he liked, and remove the parts he didn't like (such as denial of self-pleasures, and serving others, not doing wars of conquest, etc). He basically weaponized christianity into the perfect empire-building religon.
The Koran wasn't written until well after 100 years after his death, by the Tyrannical ruling elite that had followed him. Just think how convenient it is that he just so happened to be “the last of the prophets”. Awfully convenient.
Meanwhile for 500+ years before him, everyone knew Jesus was God Himself in Human form, who proved it with dozens of Miracles, backed up by countless contemporary and historical accounts, then written down by dozens of people who had witnessed it, all within the lifetime of those who actually witnessed it. Furthermore, in the Old Testament, there is the prophecy of the Savior God would send. Jesus fulfilled it, along with dozens of other prophecies.
Protestant Christianity is the truth. We follow Jesus and no other. Jesus was God himself, come down to earth to show us by example how to live a pure and God-Honoring life, and then to die as a permanent blood sacrifice to atone for our transgressions.04 Reply
Asker+1 yIf he was illiterate, how did he write a great book with lots of Rhymes? May Allah damn you
Opinion Owner+1 yHe never wrote a book, and historians universally agree he was likely illiterate, which is no surprise given his background. But you go ahead and believe any random guy from the desert who wants to make his own religon that conveniently is perfect for conquest 🙄
The man gave no signs or proof, just some idoit claiming to be a prophet. The old testemant literally says beware of false prophets. Its also prophesied all the signs and events that will happen to prove the Savior. All of those happened and were fulfilled by Jesus. He is the proven Messiah, and anyone who disagrees with a single word he said, is a fraud, and is damned to hell if they won't change there minds before death. Jesus is the ONLY path to salvation.
Asker+1 yWell jesus is just a human just like you. Then who wrote the quran?
Opinion Owner+1 yJesus proved beyond any doubt that he was both fully man, and fully God. He literally said he was. He said “before creation, i was”. He provided dozens of miracles, including raising Lazurus from the dead! He fulfilled all the prophecies that were laid out centuries beforehand.
The Quran was written by some unknown muslims, likely more then a few of them, at least a century after Muhammad’s death. You dont have to take my word for it, look it up for yourself, its universally accepted knowledge outside of islamic dictatorial states (and even some of them acknowledge it was written no early then 100 years after his death).
If you want to know the truth of Islam, go to youtube and watch a man called Nabeel Quarishi, he died of cancer a few years back in his early 30’s, but he was a Muslim until his early 20’s, from a influential Muslim family. Over the course of a couple years of research and looking at Islam objectively, he realized its impossible that its true and that it was Jesus who was the Savior. His family disowned him of course and he lost everything for Jesus, but found the only thing any of us really desire, a personal relationship with God. He went on to speak in front of hundreds of thousands and save many Muslims from the grip of that false religon.
+1 y- I was born and brought up in a religious family. I would not like to disclose my former beliefs, but I was not a Muslim.
- started identifying as an agnostic-atheist when I was 15.
I’m not a fan of the concept of religions at all. I’m not conceited to state that God does not exist, but looking at the misery in this world, I might very well say that I do not believe in God, nor will I ever. Even if God did exist, I would never ever believe in the notion of religions. I find it ludicrous.
Why don’t I believe in Islam?
- I’m not a fan of some things that Islam preaches. I don’t know much about it, but I have enough knowledge about it to say that the sexism is crazy. Besides, how would I even fit in if I‘m not even a wee bit religious?13 Reply- +1 y
Don't easily rule out never believing in "God" or something similar. Agnostic at 15 is fantastic since you aren't fooled by stories and don't double down on the assumption nothing exists either. It was around the same age i became age i became agnostic to. But i witnessed things i did not expect to be possible that formed my current beliefs. If you ever witness miracles or personal evidence don't dismiss it. Keep the posibility open. Blind faith isn't required, neither is believing that whatever conclusion you come up with is correct. You can keep that healthy mindset of understanding that your assumptions are probably wrong just like i do. But if you experience some of tge miracles in life don't deny yourself the experience by dismissing it out of hand. Instead explore and see if it was indeed a miracle or just coincidence.

@sawno Thank you. I’ve done my fair share of research on this matter to come to a conclusion and form my opinion, but some things are just complicated and best left alone. I don’t think anyone will ever know if God truly exists. I believe people created God to hope that tomorrow is better than today. Just something to hope for. I have never considered myself as much of an optimistic or a hopeful person.. I just live my life and go with the flow. I used to be religious until my mother started thrusting the notion of God and religion onto me. I started thinking for myself and well, she did not like my beliefs nor did she respect it. I’m not rebelling, but I don’t think I believe in the possibility that God might exist. If human beings treated each other at least half as good as they treated God, this world would be a better place. Just my 2 cents. However, thank you very much for your opinion. I appreciate it. I’ll try to be more open minded. 😊

-Secondly, every country that I know, which has a good-sized Muslim population and was or is not under Sharia lives in fear. Indonesia and Thailand being the two most obvious ones from my experience.
-It’s a religion made by men where the “holy book” is disjointed, without flow, and has more holes than Swiss cheese. And to fill the holes other cultural “holy substitutes” ‘Hadith, etc” were created. It’s a degrading rule book as exemplified in how it is lived out throughout the world.00 Reply
+1 yI'm Christian and I believe people of Islamic faith share many similar beliefs to Christians, and the Muslims I have met and worked with are really good kind people who seem to aspire to live good lives. Islam is not part of my culture, but I respect Islamic peoples faith.

+1 yI don't believe in Islam because it has the exact same lack of evidence all other religions do and the same terrible arguments apparently supporting it.
I've already responded to 'Teh erf coldnt be crated by coinsidense' from christians countless times. It isn't suddenly going to become a persuading argument because a muslim is now presenting it.14 Reply

When you start from a position of trying to tell other people what they believe, you guarantee that anything else you say will not be remotely convincing.
You know there's no god, you're just pretending because you're scared of mortality.
