If you read the personal notes and diaries of Founding Fathers and/or 56 Signers, you will discover that were Believers:
28 Episcopalian/Anglican, 11 Congregationalist, 2 Quakers, 2Universalist, 12 Presbyterian, 1 Catholic.

Atheism has always been something to be accused of, not a mantle proudly worn. Back then we would just laugh at them and exile them. These days we can only laugh at them, but it's not their fault they're disabled.

Yeah probably but it wasn't popular I think some of the founding fathers had some agnostic quotes but I'm not 100% sure
