i want to pray for my dead jewish teacher but i am christian how should i pray?

Talk to God the same way you talk to a friend. Although just remember that instead of praying for your teacher who is no longer alive, you might be better off praying for their loved ones (asking God to comfort them and be there for them etc). Unless of course you’re asking God to raise your teacher from the dead - then for sure go ahead and pray for them hahah

So unlike some others here in not an evangelical or whatever. I would just pray on their behalf as Jesus told us to pray for sinners, to have mercy and hope he finds peace. That is all.
