According to your religion, what will happen to you after you die?

Based on Islam, we believe after a person's physical body dies, his soul (we also call it "self" ) is detached from the physical body and attaches to another body that looks the same as our physical body but is devoid of mass, weight and other material attributes. To make people understand it better, it is sometimes compared to your body you see in your dreams, it looks like your own body but it has no mass!! This body goes to a realm called Barzakh, which lexically means "a barrier between two thing". The soul is in this realm until the day of resurrection, that why it's called a barrier, an interval between the day you die until the day you are resurrected. How this world looks like, depends on the person's actions in the material world. The realm of Barzakh is a reflection of our material world, like a mirror which shows the reality of our actions and deeds. It is believed that whatever you do, even a small deed like smiling at a strange baby on the street, has a reflection and manifestation in the realm of Barzakh and you will be rewarded. It is believed that people are rewarded for some little things they don't even remember they did, like as I said, your smile to a stranger that made him feel good. On the other hand, your bad deeds manifest themselves as different kinds of torment, fire, scary monsters that attack and eat people (based on the severity of the sin that has been done) . So bascially, whatever you experience there is just a manifestation of your actions.
