Prayer 🙏 is a relational endeavor for me rather than Works with liturgy or chants. I’ve been in lots of mosques throughout Central Asia and I have yet to see a prayer that was not ritually based.
—Islam scale and hope all my good prayers in this Pile outweighs my “not good” works in the other pile.-The lack of assurance grounded in Islam makes prayer a job rather than Joy.
—I cry to God but it’s the Sovereign, Good, Longsufferring God that should not extend me His Mercy much less His Grace (Surah 3:45) where Messiah Jesus (Isa) acknowledged (Surah 3:45) as “remember when the angels said, O Maryam.. Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of The Word (Kalimatullaah) from Him, his name will be Messiah Isa (Jesus), the son on Maryam.
—So, like Quran suggests I pray In and Through Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord…In Messiah Isa’s Name…which grants me accesses to God’s mind and will for the Christian. We have Relationship as Sons and Daughters of God in our Prayers.

If praying to means getting on my knees and only praising god then like the last time I did that was like 30 plus years ago.

But I often take moments to wish others well within my one head or take moments to think of other and hopr for them to do well or find happiness. I often stop and question myself in away in to in hopes finding guidance on what to do about most anything.

Now I am doing this in my own head, but some would say I am in meditation or praying for help and guidance... so if that counts as praying then I do it at least 5 to 6 times a day. I just do not do it with god directly, but use all the teachings and experience I have learned and gained throughout my life to do what's right and best... so if life is a gift from god then I use all the gifts that god has given me to find peace and happiness. So if I respect myself and my values, I am I not indirectly praising god?

When I was around 13.

I'm an agnostic and don't support religions or believe in gods. But I do have spiritual beliefs. I have deep gratitude and awe for all of creation and extend blessings to individual trees, plants, animals (including people), and phenomena like sun, moon, stars, breezes, clouds, earth, water, sunsets all the time.
