How do you overcome a fear of goats?

They have a historical correlation with satan and that’s always terrified me. I couldn’t even put a picture of one on here.

Though im not christian, i have christian family members and have read the bible before. If you look at goats from a christian perspective, goats, like all living things, are God's creatures. Satan is a fallen angel so he can't create living creatures. Plus satan started off as a beautiful angel, it was his original image. After his fall, the look of a goat can simply be a way of him instilling fear. But it doesn't mean that goats themselves are evil. They are just living creatures like we are.

True. I can’t understand why or how someone can live in a Christian family, read the Bible, and still throw it away. I’m reading books trying to decipher people like you so hopefully I can have a more ground to stand on. Just remember that God doesn’t need us to believe in Him for Him to exist.

Well i can tell you that my parents are more open minded people compared to my other family members. As i am too. I've always respected other people's beliefs because really if we all were one same thing life would be boring. Over the years I've explored many religions and read different texts on it. In my mind no matter what there is indeed a supreme force, and everyone interprets this force differently.

I see no need to overcome it if goats aren’t a part of your regular everyday life. Just stay away from goats, which for the average person should be very very easy.

Well, the logical thing would be to ask why an association with Satan would be a bad thing; he fills his role, same as anyone else. But fear isn't about logic. So go to a petting zoo, and you'll be able to encounter them under controlled circumstances, and don't have to get any closer than you're comfortable with. You can adjust to their pcesence as gradually as you need to.

Its not the goats, if you correlate those depictions with real life it would be the human animal hybrids they grow and raise in a lab.

Regular goats are very sweet and kind animals. They won't harm you and troughout the bible regular goats have been nice.

If you still find them uncomfortable go to a petting zoo and pet a few. They are great animals.
