Like all religions just another awful cult that no one calls a cult just because it's seen as normal for how many people have accepted it. But at the end of the day if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it's a duck. It's only made to manipulate those for it's own cultish gain. if anyone needs proof of this just look how they try to influence the idea man on man is wrong all throughout history and even still today. There is a reason why separation of church and state is a controversial ideal because oh the church very much didn't like that as they wanted to still control the laws for their own gains.
Even if it was the otherway around, the religion was fully accepting of gays and even promoted it then you would still have this cult again repeating it's manipulation as it would be influencing your ideas to be accepting of that.
One shouldn't be a sheep, one should think independently for better or worse but getting your ideals from a cult is not it. That's just following whatever just because you think the people who spread the ideals are all good people without any motives to influence people for their own gain, which has to be the most flawed ideal ever it don't take long to figure out that's not why a person makes a cult. Yet people join cults all the time... for many reasons which is just sad really.
Most of the ones who I know are amazing people. Loving caring kind people. I myself am a Christian. They also have morals and many are just full of joy and light. Christians are great!!!
Well... not all but most. I mean if people want to take some people and make them like ALL Christians are like that then... That is just sad and pathetic really.
I love how people talk about how loving and accepting they are of everyone but hate Christians with a passion
Outside of their hatred for non-heterosexuals, they're okay. They can get a little preachy, like everyone's supposed to care about their holy book, but every religion I have encountered has been a little like that. We're the chosen ones, and other nonsense.
I also appreciate the Christians who actually do good works, and live to bring dignity to the entire world. They are fantastic, but once again, please do not speak to me about the Bible.
Honestly don't think nothing about them. They sucked in the 80's to early 90's, but the new authoritarians are these Liberals. I mean is it too much to ask to have curse words in my music AND keep my guns? They show up at the doorstep with their money scam organizations looking for anyone that has shit on their life so hard that any sort of acceptence would be grateful for. Then there's the one's I respect a bit more... they don't push the bullshit or use it as a fox hole to anything life throws... just the basic morals. The morals you'd expect any normal human to have naturally. Those organizations though... churches... they have a lot of fucking scammers of differnt types hidden within them. Best to be on your own.
People who, tell others what to think try to control other peoples' lives Don't think for themselves Use religion as a scapegoat so as not to be responsible for their own actions or words.
I'm not saying they're all like that. Just the majority I have seen.
But there are some who use it as a benchmark for being a good person. I don't mind as long as they're not hurting anyone.
Those are fake Christians they use God's rules like the law and we should be ashamed if we break a law by accident but i assure you they have broke the majority of those laws real christians don't do that
And that's another thing: "real Christians" and "fake Christian" they can't even agree with eachother or even tell the same story.
I'm not trying to spark a debate or anything. I wholeheartedly believe in the First Amendment, which includes freedom of religion. I'm just tired of constantly being preached at with something I simply don't believe in.
The 2nd ones aren't good Christians they are just judgmental some people in Jesus days were like that he was not though the people like the 2nd ones went to hell
I believe the only true Christian was Jesus. Many people that claim to be Christians haven't even read the Bible and fall far short of practicing what it preaches. But the ones that truly believe and follow the teachings in the Bible are pretty much always wonderful people.
I grew up raised catholic which is a branch of Christianity. I don’t find anything wrong with them. Some are the sweetest most caring people I’ve ever met and dedicate all their time to helping others. While others seem blatantly hypocritical to a point where I don’t get how so many consider themselves a catholic or a Christian.
They're are Fake Christians and real Christians and let me tell you no one likes the fake Christians who use Gods law to ashamed to use everything God said against others real Christians shouldn't be like that
I went to a private school and had that Supposed Christian bible thumping Bs crammed down my throat every day. It didn't do a dammed thing for me. All it did was give me a 168 IQ and twice as smart as anyone around me in public school and college aside from that Supposed Christian Schools aren't worth a damm
I look at each person as they live their own life how they treat others around them, I care less about the details. People don’t bother me unless they are trying to force something on me. Respect comes in all shapes and sizes. Bad days aside.
no opinion really but i find christians the most pushy about religion (depends on where you live though i guess) but i generally think all religions are interesting but i hate hypocritical and pushy religious people

I'm one myself. Generally, I assume that they are well-meaning people who live lives that give proper glory to God. I continue to hold that view unless given reason to think otherwise.
Christians are fine as long as they don't use their holy book to allow hate, which is true for every religion I think. I wouldn't say christians are better or worse than anyone else.

Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, however it's wrong to try to look down on someone who has different beliefs, and it's wrong to try to force someone to have your beliefs.
I’m not religious but I always try to respect others beliefs. But sometimes with Christians it’s hard to respect them because they shove their religion down your throat at all times lol

i’m cordial with them but like other religious people i don’t really take them seriously. Christianity is bronze age mythology that was plagarized from egyptian and other pagan folklore.

A lot are hypocrites, a lot don't know what they're even following, but for the ones trying I don't mind them, I grew up that way
