Do you believe in the saying "be careful what you wish for"?

I feel like people say this only when it comes to bad things but I normally don't see the bad things people "wish" upon themselves come true.

My mom passed away last year and I had the closest relationship with her out of all of my siblings so needles to say that I took her passing the hardest and been having self-deletion thoughts but I don't anymore but I still stare at pictures of her in my phone and cry a lot and even cry myself to sleep.

So every morning and every night when I do my daily gratitude prayers, I often pray EVERY NIGHT that he calls me home very soon to be with my mother in the afterlife so that I'll no longer be sad from losing her because I'll be with her. Life hasn't been the same without her she was like a best friend, big sister, teacher, therapist, etc everything. I know that I should be living my life and chasing my dreams but my only dream is to be with her again because I miss her a lot.

But I personally never witnessed anyone "getting what they've wished for" or maybe it's in God's timing. Has anyone lived proof of this?

Just suppose you could dial GOD (463) and talk to your mother.
She would tell you that she misses and loves you, but she is so disappointed with you. You are needed on Earth because there is so much left for you to do. That you should think of the rest of your family and friends. They also suffered the loss of me (your mother). Don’t afflict more pain on those that loves you and NEED you. I’m in a safe and happy place so you my dear stay where you are and help make Earth a little happier. Smile and be safe.

God can take away your pain and God can add new people to your life like a boyfriend who becomes your husband and gives you children of your own, and you can use your life to help others. She would want you to make new loves. You will get past this. No matter what you think or feel now.

It's not anger is hurt comma sadness and loneliness and the fact that God did not take me with her when he called her home.

Perhaps, God has a different plan for you. Would you say the Lord’s Prayer and think on it. Hallowed means Holy for instance. Al Mohler would be a good reference for Lord’s Prayer.
—Once you understand the nuisance then read it/pray it back to God. At that point, you are much more likely to be heard In and Through Christ Jesus. Sometimes, Prayer and intimacy with God begin with a repentant heart.
