How did that turn out? From your experience, did the converter truly believe what they converted to or not (according to them)? (Can't read their mind).

Why would the religious spouse accept this if it is not genuine? Is it moral to them?

I think only unreligious people would accept this but it happens with seemingly religious people. Would like to hear from all types of people with such an experience or second hand one.

Known a few down the years.

Hindu's who reverted to Islam. Jews who converted to Catholicism etc. The main thing to note is that religion was not the ONLY thing they bonded on. The main reason was love and mutual goals usually.

Do you mean the idiom "nickel and dime" meaning it's "not important" or "not a big deal" to convert for marriage? What are your beliefs? Atheist? Christian, Muslim?

I know of a situation where a Buddhist from Asia working in International Oil was brought to USA. From what I could tell, Christ Jesus was at work making Himself known to her. Had a question and the sermon would be on it. Had other questions no one knew about an God provided resource to answer questions. Anyway, one week before she had to return to original country she was Baptized. She married that guy and know lives in USA and attends same church with me. It was cool to see Jesus, Savior and Lord, working that way. They seem happy 5 years married-I think.
