There are a few atheists (I'm one myself) in my family. Only an older cousin got married outdoors. It was a civil ceremony in a vineyard. There was no bible reading nor altar but they made their own vows, there were jokes made and there was a party afterwards.
I guess the typical religous ceremony is the more common one. More people are believers than non-believers. Anyone else broke that tradition of bride's father walking her down the altar, any non-believer that had a non-religious wedding?
