I made a post about a similar concept where I said hating a wrong doer is often more hateful than doing wrong, but of course, this depends on the wrongful action, because stealing cookies is different from physically harming an innocent person.
I think I have to agree.
Wasn't it Christ who once condemned the Pharisees? And yet he dwelt with sinners...
Yep also one of his followers Mary magdalene was a prostitute
@toad_sage_jiraiya Really? I thought she just had devils cast out of her...
Shows you how much I know of the Bible :P
Yes she was going to be stoned in the village for "being an adulterer and a whore" which basically translates to married men paid fuck her then Jesus told people "he who is without sin may cast the first stone" after that everyone just kinda left and she started following him, forgot with verse it is but it's somewhere in the book of matthew
@toad_sage_jiraiya Wait, that was Mary Magdalene? I thought it was just "a woman taken in adultery."
Other versions of the Bible name her as Mary magdalene, Christianity itself varies a lot
@toad_sage_jiraiya Oh, right... I forgot lol
Catholics in particular leave out the connection between the 2 women but she was an important part of pushing the message of seeking forgiveness and redemption through christ, im not religious myself but is an overall positive message in its own way

Totally agree those kind of people are incredibly annoying and rather despicable.
I just say one of the most important things in life is forgiving others and redeeming yourself for your misdeeds. And the people who seemingly do know wrong yet shun others for doing wrong have completely ignored or almost completely ignored this very important virtue which governs the vast majority of social interactions. Like if you never make up for your mistakes then everyone's going to hate you and if you never forgive others then you're just going to hate everyone and if you do neither well then you're just going to end up in a lot of trouble in the future like a lot a lot of trouble.
Self righteous people are disgusting. In my experience women seem to have the biggest problem with this.
Everyone had sin in some point of their lives. It's important to repent, beg for forgiveness and don't repeat your sins
