never thought about it?
Or what is the reason? I'm curious.

Lust has taken out the strongest man in the Bible (Samson), the smartest man in the Bible (Solomon) and the bravest man in the Bible (King David).
It’s actually more about how these biblical figures reacted to their mistakes vs the mistake itself. That of course doesn’t make it okay to be sexually immoral. But King David is the only one who truly repented and changed his ways after he committed adultery and murder. He had his side chic’s husband murdered in combat so he could marry her since she was already pregnant with his child. The prophet Nathaniel found out about his treachery and confronted the King about it. How did he react? He took full responsibility for his sin, accepted his punishment (God took their first son) and never did something like that again.
I won’t get into Samson and Solomon. However I will say Jews and Christian’s don’t believe in God because their perfect. Quite the opposite. We know we are IMPERFECT and we come to faith to help us repent. But it isn’t faith in itself that makes Jews/Christian’s often act hypocritical (although I do think Satan sometimes signals them out for temptation). Rather it’s comfort of repentance and overcoming struggle.
Maybe we have our own variations and interpretations of the rules. I've often wondered - "how terrible would the world ACTUALLY be if protected sex wasn't taboo and all the "other" rules got followed?" How bad would the heart of mankind be if we didn't bear false witness, if we took care of our neighbors, the poor, the elderly, the sick, and didn't try to subjugate masses of people, and educated the populace?
How "bad" could it be if "random sex" was the worst thing we ever did?
Thanks for sharing. I get what you're saying.

that's something interesting I came to find here at G@G
Christians from this area were I've lived are very very measured, and prudent, modest... when it comes to sexuality... and some of them tend to see others who are more open and expressive with theirs as "deviants" (not all Christians I know are like this but many are)
and then I come to this site, and see many Christians from all parts of the country and the world... and see how VERY kinky and sexually liberated and expressive they are, and a few well, actually some sort of "deviant" lol but at the same time, they're very righteous about many other things, just no sex... they do push a lot of boundaries in there
now, I am not saying either is wrong or right or that it should be one or the other way, of course I would not think all have to be the same, I just find it interesting how many different types of "Christianities" are out there, and I knew that was the case, I just didn't see it as much as I have since I've been here at G@G
An interesting question for me, I like to flirt and show off hoping to attract a second wife. Most biblical figures have a harem despite what the contemporary religious folks would have you believe.
Honestly, I've studied many religions, and I would prefer to live my life the way I determine to be just and let God pass judgment rather than submit to the will of other flawed humans.
One can belive in a deity without accepting every tenent of the prevailing dogma.
Well, if you're a Protestant, you know that God will forgive all your sins if you simply repent for them later.
Thanks for sharing.
WTF are you waffling about?
If you mean how can a prostitute claim to be "a Christian". Then it's because people are flawed and forgiveness is something living people seek despite themselves.
An arrogant or atheist soul is brainless, and will do bad things and not care. It's why they are what they are. But a person with even an iota of humility will seek forgiveness and try to make reparations with their Lord.
Most people just don't care and won't connect the dots as to why all their relationships fail and are crappy.
Personally, I stayed moral. And it was by far the easiest thing to do.
