Back to church?

So I'm going back to the church today to cook food for the less fortunate

I'm not religious and they know it

Is it OK or not? I mean from a religious perspective...

Guys thanks for all your answers. I was there and it was nice. And like you all say: they didn't care. Im happy that my husband at the last minute said to take his little European car thou cuz BOY would my big RAM have looked greed (sin) in the parking lot of small meager Subarus 😄😉😊😇

The church is like most volunteer organizations. When people are willing to help. They are glad to accept the extra bodies.
As long as lightning doesn’t strike the church while you are there. Keep helping them when you can. You are still doing a good deed for your community! Which is what more people should be doing.

Lol thanks. And lightning ⛈ 🌩 didn't strike the place. It feels good to help the less lucky. Give some back I guess. And although I'm not religious they didn't care. I helped a lot with their food and it's a lunch for the people who need it most. I'll definitely go back!!

I'm a Christian. I've been to churches where some of the volunteers couldn't boil water if their lives depended on on it.

If you can cook and you want to volunteer I don't see a genuinely God-fearing church turning it down. I certainly don't see them condemning it.
