I consider myself a non-denominational Christian. As for its' relevance to me, I would say that I'm more spiritual than religious.
Tengrism also known as Turkic shamanism, original religion of Turks. But of course my identification with tengrism is only cultural , I dont really believe it. I dont go around and do shamanic rituals of course. I just culturally identify myself with my ancestoral religion , thats all. I dont actually believe in any god nor religion. These are all tools created by elites to rule people if you ask me. Since I believe religions are nothing but political agendas serving elites of the society , I choose my religious belief according to my political views. I am a turkish nationalist , I absolutely reject islam. Its an arab supremacist religion that was forced on my ancestors by sword. I perceive it as a foreign element to my culture. Also Arabism is very prevelant among islamic teachings. A small example is the fact that non arab muslims are not even allowed to recite quran or pray Allah using their own native tonques. This is very racist and assimilative as if almighty (!) Allah cannot speak other languages. Even though its abolished now islamic caliphate system was also very racist if you go into its details. Only arabs has right to rule the whole islamic world. This is the exact definition of colonization.
I believe Turkish people will never be fully independent if they continue to stay as muslims. As long as we stay as muslim, we will get crushed under the hegomany of arabs and our culture and language will get replaced by the arabic one. Turkish people has to revert back to their original religion which is Tengrism.
