******Three IN One!!! xxoo
I have nothing like that.
Although it's not "special," I did get renewed at my job for another year and signed a new contract with them on September 5th. I got a $200 a check raise as well. I kinda figured that would be the case though, cause if they were going to fire me (not renew my contract), I'd have been given one month's notice. Not required, but usually given 95% of the time. Not to mention, I asked to stay here, since I like this job and it's fairly easy teaching.
But no, I have nothing special that happened to me though. I did meet a girl here in my apartment complex. A *thick* late 20s Korean honey. (Dat ass was the first thing I noticed about her! Especially being Korean.) But I think she might have a drinking problem.
A lot. Wish I can just keep track of it and express my gratitude towards responsible person deity God
Thanks for likes!
God Bless You, @EaterPeter Hugggs. xx
Thanks for MHO!

After retiring from the military, I had these goals of what I wanted to do. I always wanted to work in the National Park Service in specific location, but wife was an obstruction to that dream (seriously toxic individual). I always wanted to enter the federal service at a specific grade level. Meaning I wanted to make no less than 50K a year in retirement, on top of my 40K a year military pension. So that would be a grade 9, but in the military I was a grade 12 equivalent which was 80K a year. So there I was working in Logistics for a military contractor, making a 135K annual salary.
I had this over whelming sense that I need to find a lower paying job now, because my now ex-wife was like snake in the grass just waiting to divorce me and collect on all the alimony I would have to pay. So one day I logged on to started looking for jobs, and I found the ideal job at 50K a year in the exacted location and career field I wanted to get into. The job was posted with and expiration date and I happened to log in and find it on the very last day the job posting was set to expire. I scrambled and applied. Two weeks later I got a interview and a week later I offered the job.
See the time of this was in upmost of importance. I never told my wife I applied or interviewed. Two days after accepting the position I was severed with divorce papers. She was trying to trap me into that high paying job so she could collect alimony, and not work.
The thing is that I accepted the position prior to being served, so in court I only had to report 50K a year and not 135K. See some people get served and quit their jobs to get out of alimony, then court will rule that even though you quite your job they will accredit as if you where still earning the higher salary. But for me I accepted it before I was served so I was good. So I got the 9 position which was perfect at 50K. Then tripped my ex-wife up because I found out she was actually work and did not report her income to the court and I got her on a perjury charge
Then 18 months later my divorce went final and I didn't have to pay any alimony. Because my wife got a job and she was making more than me. 2 weeks after divorce a new position opened in a different location only 60 miles away, and I only had to go in once a week and telework 4 days a week, and that was grade 12 position at 80K a year.
Now this position was previously filled by some other person, who held my grade 9 position previously to me. So everyone hated this person, but I was always nice to her. And I really worked well with her, and when she promoted her grade 12 position came open. I had no idea that this was happening until she contact me and told me to apply, and then she was on the hiring board later. She is married so it all professional people, none of that silly stuff.
So everything worked out amazingly, and since I started my new job at 80K after divorce was final.. no additional alimony! So now i make 20K more then the ex-wife in a location and career field I always wanted to be.
I always believed that good things happen to good people... not by themselves or by some act of god. I mean you have to play a direct hand and take some control over the process... but amazingly the timing of everything worked out exactly how I would of planned it and would of wanted it to happen... not any sooner or later just perfect.
@exitseven thanks man. I know it turned a lot longerthen I expected. Sorry.
They say good things come in three's. Don't know over what time period as we were very worried about our dog on Tuesday, but he's fine today.
We were wishing for a low water bill and was very surprised to get the bill today and it was less than the last one. Was expecting it to be twice what it is.
To top it all off a job I applied for a while back and I thought they'd forgot about me/hired someone else; got back to me today and offered me the job.
So all in all. Not a bad Thursday.
Nothing. I have to work for and earn anything good I want in life. Nothing good happens without me putting in effort to make it happen.
I got a new job in July and was offered 10K more than I asked for
My youngest son finely moved out, sad part he moved 400 miles away
He didn't want to farm?
@888theGreat No, not at this time. He wants to see the new places and see the big cities
so did my mom , her brothers stayed and farmed until death
A nice business deal that worked out better than we thought…it was a good timing.
An amazing trip of our life time. Hard to believe was real! And better than we thought.
Kiddies are cool and more comfortable than I anticipated. I didn’t want I teach them to drive. Was going to let them go to driving school. Turns out they are very comfortable in the car for the first two times.
I just enjoy the small improvements day after day.
You had liked to taste my last dish.
Hmmmmmm - He let me wake up again this morning!

Nothing. I’ve stopped petitioning God and the Universe for anything. Deaf ears.
Another kiddo off to college and that child is loving it so far. I couldn't be prouder!
Major? Well in 4 years maybe Biden is gone and the kid will have a chance for a good job.
@888theGreat Hopefully all of my kiddos will have great careers doing what they love, even better would be having great families of their own with the ability to fall back on their degree. Their majors are all science majors and one has a foreign language minor (no, not Chinese).
Honestly nothing. However, lately some of the things that I think about end up happening.
Not anything recently
Maybe getting a Dodge challenger soon
Nothing I wished for, that’s for sure. 😥
