I think the symbols actually have an impact in our personality but what I don’t understand is how planets filled with gas and nitrogen thousands of kilometers away from the earth can have an impact in our personalities but then I believe in the elements, modalities but the houses or planets honestly don’t mean shit🥴

Astrology is a clown show. Horoscopes speak in generalities that could apply to almost anything, or might be sort of right once or twice per month. People will also point to a few people who "fit" their signs, ignoring the millions of others born in other parts of the year who fit and ignoring the millions born under that sign who do not fit.

Literally every "expert" who "analyzed" me not knowing my birthdate said with absolute certainty that I am a Virgo. I was born July 4.

And your point of heavenly bodies makes perfect sense. The idea that gas giants that had roughly the same gravitational effect upon me as the team who delivered me somehow control my personality for life is absurd in the extreme.

People believe in it so much that I think they need therapy, I only use it for fun and entertainment, go to sites like Quora, Reddit, Lindaland or etc and see people trying to tear you apart if you say you don’t believe astrology, these Astro believers are so gullible and close minded to the extent they look up to the planets even for breathing

The planets themselves don't, the idea is that seasonal variations in weather and food production would lead to predictable changes in the body of a pregnant woman, which would have predictable effects on a developing fetus.

That all went out the window with agricultural displacement, though, and even before that, there's a BIG difference between it and "today is a six".

We don't see trends between people sharing the same sign. There's no, say, study that shows an increase of Leo's getting married one month, followed by Capricorns the next month, or whatever, based on some kind of prediction made.

Astrologers can't pass a test where they are tasked with assigning signs to people with reasonable accuracy based on asking them questions about their recent goings on.

Test subjects cannot accurately determine their own signs from a collection of 12 unlabelled predictions for the past month.

If astrology was true, it would pass these sorts of tests, but it fails constantly because there's no truth behind it.

I've read about a very similar test in which the people conducting the test pretended to make specific horoscopes for each individual. All participants were given the exact same horoscope and they all thought that it matched them.

Becayse it is purely superstition and honestly, outright fraud. There is absolutely nothing about it which plays even a slight role in the development of personality let alone romantic and financial fortunes.
