How should I get rid of the devil?

Hello there
I have believed in Jesus Christ for 2 years, but the devil is always trying to turn me astray.
He is constantly trying to direct me to world affairs.
I don't like him at all and I don't want to go to hell.
What would you do if you were in my situation?

God employs a vacuum and so the only way too rid of the devil is through the Lord.

In the very description of your post you are submitting to the devil.
It's all in your writing.
Set your mind on things of the spirit NOT the flesh.
But you have to understand what that sentence means.
If you don't, it won't make any sense to you.
Study. Study. Study.

Pray scripture back to God... (Open prayer Heavenly Father), Get on a computer and Type out John 1:1... then go to Matthew 6:9-13 and type down the Lord's Prayer... then 1 John 1:9 In these verse you are glorifying God and confessing/cleansing yourself of Sins, thereby, freeing yourself to be heard by God in Prayers.

now... type James 4:7, Ephesians 6:11-12, AND Jude 1:9...(In Jesus' Name. Amen.) These scriptures should be one after another like a paragraph and close (In Jesus' Name, Amen).

In this order and PRINT and READ BACK ALOUD in prayer... keep by your nightstand. In your purse etc...

Of course the Devil is always trying to turn you away. No less than Our Lord Jesus Christ said so Himself that faithful souls would be led astray.

At any rate, it's easier for me to make this argument as a Catholic, but I've found that making frequent examinations of conscience, frequent recourse to the Sacrament of Confession, and daily praying the Holy Rosary to be very spiritually beneficial to me.

I am constantly praying and praying for protection from the devil.
it always comes from my family and directs me to school and education
They are uncomfortable with my prayer.
we are in the end times and I see this as a gateway to heaven
I don't want the devil to come near me and rule me.

You shouldn't- nor should you want to. You were not brought to this world to ignore it, or to mindlessly accept the will of those stronger than yourself- be they kings OR gods. Temptation brings enlightenment, because it speaks to the truths you can't bring yourself to admit.

This temporal world is the creation of God, and that creation is NOT evil. To reject it outright is to reject the gifts of God. It shouldn't be ignored or derided, just not worshiped or prioritized over eternal things.
