I think it is pretty obvious there is a lot more to consciousness than brain, blood, and bone.

It never ceases to amaze me that your conscious state can affect your body functions. That you can lower your heartbeat or pulse by putting yourself into different states of consciousness. And through rigorous training of your mind, you can change how your body functions and operates.
