What creature or being from mythology scares you the most?

Shapeshifting 'skinwalkers'.
MOST folks entrust their interactions based ONLY upon the perceptions
of their 5 ordinary senses (ignoring their SIXTH sense, 'intuition').
Think of shape-shifting like using a fisherman's lure.
Your Prey 'sells' themself that you (the Walker) ARE (only) all you appear and therein lies the hook. The Skinwalker attacks BY RETREATING, it is ALWAYS YOUR CHOICE to take THEIR bait.
Your own DESIRE to believe... becomes THE Walker's ally to YOUR exploitation
and they can manifest a 'helpless innocence' to turn YOUR OWN friends against you.
They'd HELP you fight a callous brute but not for example a 'helpless' concupiscent preteen little girl who feigns naivete~ THEY 'harvest' YOUR auric life force; YOU incur society's hypocrisy; (and the 'Muggles' don't believe you)
"You're only whom you TRULY are... when NO ONE ELSE is looking."
The Wendigo. The stuff of nightmares.

I can PM you if you wish, but I won't mention here the creatures I actually had a run in with because people will think I'm crazy.
Myths don’t frighten me.
Piranhas are scary as f*ck! Can you imagine being eaten alive one tiny bite at a time? Geezus!
Honestly, I've never been scared of something like that. Nowadays I suppose it helps that I work on a horror game.
The Hydra. I've been fighting a hydra for a very long time. Motherfucker won't die.
🙄None, since, ya know, they’re not real.
Cyclops, Cerberus, Goblin or Basilisk
Medusa always freaked me out.
Bigfoot
There’s reason to believe “bigfoot” is less myth and more legend. Gigantopithecus was real, and would have been a threat to our ancestors in much the same way as chimps are threats to monkeys. There’s ongoing research to determine if we have “genetic memory” that would help explain why we continue to fear a predator that supposedly no longer exists.
One of the demon people from Harry Potter
Like @musicbrain5 said the wendigo.

Smurfs
The gorgon
Leprechauns.
