Do you believe God gives you signs about what to do?

When I was younger I liked two guys and I was talking to a minister and he said both guys were decent people now but I needed to consider what they would become later on and I already knew who to choose cause I liked one more than the other but my struggles and issues were clouding my judgment. I remember thinking perfectly good looking guys were very ugly for no justifiable reason when I was younger and I later learned those guys had bad personalities. One guy was very bad and the other was not bad but a gold digger.

I think this happened to me once last year because I kept hearing this one song almost everywhere I went so I thought that was like a sign from the universe telling me to listen to the whole song so I did
