You say there is no proof.
What evidence do you have to support this?

Do you remember what happened on Sept. 11th, 2001?
About 3000 people were killed, right? A lot of them died in the implosions of those 3 towers! Once that whole nightmare started, people ALL OVER THE WORLD were praying to some god that all the people in those towers would live through it! BILLIONS OF PEOPLE PRAYED for that!! Including nearly every one of them that got killed that day! Why are they dead? Why didn't god answer those billions of prayers that day? Too busy golfing? Decided to sleep in that day or even take the day off? Thousands of people are still hurting 22 years later because of the loss of their loved ones that day! Does god give a shit? So far, no matter what I say to religious nuts about god, all I EVER get are lame-ass EXCUSES as to why this does happen or why that doesn't happen!!
A friend of mine, a guy I used t work with who was a religious nut, asked his dad why there were no dinosaurs on the ark. He reported that his dad (also a strict religious nut) told him, "There just wasn't enough room fort them".
Why are there so many sick people, blind people, poor people, people living in cardboard boxes, retarded people, evil people, deaf people, etc? Why doesn't god wiggle his nose or cross his arms and nod to make all of that go away?
It doesn't work like that. When someone claims that something exists, it's on them to support that claim. I could claim that any number of things exist, and it would be impossible to prove me wrong. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell%27s_teapot
Anyway, even if there is a God, so what? There's no evidence for an afterlife, and no evidence that any religious practice has any effect of future events.
if we were talking about science you would be right, but religion is not a science and thus does not need to follow these rules of evidence
@007kingifrit Again, so what? If there's no demonstrable benefit to religious practices, why would I bother? Make yourself happy, but accept that it's a personal belief.
there are demonstratable differences, religious people are happier, their societies are more stable, they are more willing to go through hardships, and above all they have more kids resulting in larger amounts of soldiers workers and taxpayers
@007kingifrit Really? It's generally recognized that the Scandinavian countries are the happiest, and that are highly secular. Highly religious nations are mostly miserable. Nations with theocratic governments are the worst.
your example is too short term. scandanavia will not survive in its present form much longer due to low birth rates
There are so many religions all claiming the "one true god". They cannot all be right, therefore there is a probable chance that none are right. As I always say, religion and gods/goddesses are all man made because mankind is frightehed of its own mortality. It has to brainwash itself into believing there is an afterlife.
We know the future of the expanding universe. Dilution of the finite energy and matter until it becomes a cold, lonely and lifeless entity.
What will your god do then?
I believe in miracles which come from God. I have had 3 of them in my lifetime.
I'm not trying to prove anything to you. This is a fact from me.

My evidence is that no one has come forward with any evidence. Religion has existed for thousands of years with countless followers yet not one grain of evidence for God exists.
Lack of evidence is evidence.
the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. also wherever atheism sets in genocide war and misery inevitably follow. 90% of all genocide is done by atheists, atheists are less satisfied with life
The absence of evidence is strong evidence of it's absence. That is basic logic.
religion does not need to comply with or apply logic, it is an act of faith
but it sure would be logical to side with the thing that creates stronger societies. as i just demonstrated atheism does not
I don't need evidence to prove a negative. In fact, it's extremely difficult, if not impossible, to prove a negative.
Their conjectures can be dismissed, as they present them with little proof.
It's why they exist in small cliques and not large followings.
Wait a minute. So you are asking us to prove a negative? Can't be done. The assertion that there is a God is provable there is mo way to prove that something doesn't exist.
I have no proof that there is no proof anywhere. But my proof that no one has shown any proof to me is my own memory.
Right next to the proof that God doesn't exist. You can't prove a negative.
there is no proof. that is our evidence. what is YOUR proof one does exist? then we can talk about this.
What substantial proof do you have without quoting your religious text in any way at all do you have? It's the same argument.
That makes no sense
What evidence do you have that there is no proof god exists?
I don’t see how it doesn’t make sense. You are the only person in the comment section that has said what I am saying doesn’t make sense.
I have seen multiple users comment there is no proof god exists but these users never provided any evidence to prove what they are saying is true.
