It's because of feminism and the alternative culture is nothing, but deconstruction.
It tells you "A man shouldn't do this... A woman shouldn't be doing that...", but gives you no instructions what to do or be. It's all deconstruction without anythings constructed.
But you read a bible or Qur'an It makes sense you and you have a sense of belonging. You're thinking about things in just a logical way and forgetting that we are emotional creatures too. It's like Harry Potter. Voldemort was more stronger and smarter than Harry and by all means Harry should lose that fight. But the reason he didn't is because he had love. His mom and dad were married lovers. He was compassionate towards others and his friends looked out for him. And Harry was willing to sacrifice his life for them. He was all the things Voldemort wasn't.
Voldemort didn't have loving parents. He was bullied. Harry could have grown up to become like him. But because he had love from his friends family he didn't.
When you tell a man or woman he/she is bad and wrong, and they ask you "Well how do I become good" and you give vague answers they will see no purpose in your cause. And that is the issue. When a guy asks for advice all men are bad and can't figure why everyone hates him he's going to turn to religion.
The thing with religion it makes sense. "A guy becomes a masculine man and provides for a feminine woman" and some women enjoy being like that because they have an identity. When you tell them all men are bad and tell them to stop doing things they enjoy no matter simple it is, she's going to go to what makes her feel good.
The reason they are proud is because they don't over complicate life. They have simplicity and elegance. Life is already difficult why make things more complicated?
Now I don't agree with a lot of religions people go to them because there are things that are constructed and they make sense. "How do I be a good man? Be masculine. Protect your woman and provide for her..." How do I be a good woman "Take care of the house. Manage the finance and take of the kids" and they have answer to things.
When you look at deconstruction "Your a bad man. You're mansplaining. You're a toxic male" okay how do I be a good man? "Shave your bread and respect a lady..." see? One appreciates man for being a man and a woman for being a woman.
The other tells a woman she needs to be more like a man. Or man needs to be more like a woman.

Well, "Muslim" isn't a culture; while Islam is unquestionably heavily influenced by seventh century Arabian culture, but it's spread all over the world- today you have Muslims of pretty much every culture on Earth. The Muslim in Mecca, the Muslim in Toledo, and the Muslim in Hokkaido aren't all going to have the same culture.
Why should they not be proud of it? True, they generally didn't choose it, but that doesn't mean that it's not a part of it and it's not a part of them; you do have some ability to influence your culture, and I see no real danger in taking pride in group accomplishments, if it's a group you're a part of.
I love being a Muslim woman and I love my culture I would not change that for anything, And i hate when other's talk bad about Islam/ Muslim people stop listening to people and do your research don't just talk just to talk because then you look dump make sure you know what your talking about before you open your mouth and sometimes you comment are not even needed so it would be better if people would just understand that

Everyone can and should be proud of their heritage. When we deprive people of their heritage, we start down the slippery slope to assimilation and genocide!
This is a great question to which I have no good answer other than to say I've observed the pride of which you speak.
Being a Muslim is a choice, what are you talking about? If it's easy, do it yourself. You don't understand what it's like to be subjected to the repulsive stares of people. There are women in Turkey who are tortured just because they wear hijab.
Ain’t everyone proud of their culture? By the way, Muslim people have no single culture. They’ve many. Even though my faith is Islam, I still practise the Jewish culture.
Everyone's allowed to be proud of their culture. There's no rule that you can't be proud of something in your life.
Isn't everyone at least a little proud of their culture? Its not nessecarily a bad thing
I suppose you are correct, but the women are treated badly, sometimes whipped or arrested
Muslims are proud of their religion as others are proud of their religion, that girl understands Islam so she follow accordingly
No idea. I see zero appeal in it.
