Why are muslims so sensitive and angry?

I am living in Turkey and even they are so sensitive and angry and easily offended when it comes to religion, they are very serious and also too judgmental including my religious parents, relatives, cousins and friends. I am sick of this. Even my mom hates me just because I don't pray 5 times a day.

But I am glad most of my friends became atheists or deists.

I can only say what I have seen, with the ones I know!
I worked with many Yemenese, that came to the US, and they just seemed to forget Islam, and started drinking, and going to strip clubs, and forgetting the ways they were taught!
to me, anyone can choose their 'religion' or their 'way' and change, whenever they choose. But I thought that Muslems were VERY sure, and that that WAY, was the ONLY "RIGHT" way?
Yet, these chose to turn, from that repressive way, and chose a different path!
As for others, I can only suppose, or imagine, why they are so 'sensitive' as you say.
Maybe some are thinking, and questioning, but have no way "OUT" of what they were TOLD was RIGHT!
It is REALLY hard, to leave the religious things you were raised with, only thinking that maybe, there is something that makes more sense, or is "better"!
I have a lot of empathy, for them, and I know, personally, what it is like!

What part of Turkey are you in? Konya? Kurdistan? I just spent 2 weeks in Turkey, trust me, the Muslims there aren't that bad. Most Turks aren't that religious. A lot of them are turning to Sufism which is a more peaceful and tollarant sect.
What I DID notice however is Turks as an ethnic group don't handle criticism very well. When something bad happens to a tourist they say, ", It's not us, it's Kurds!" Uh huh, sure...
Turks are extremely nationalistic and egotistical, and they've forgotten that they were just a bunch of nomadic planes people and it was the GREEKS who brought civilization to Turkey.
But yeah, Turkish people are quite something.

Yeah but I am not in a secular area, in middle anatolia, my family and relatives Are very religious.

Also yeah, kurds are pretty full of trouble in general, I have some good kurd friends but most of them just brings trouble.

I’m sorry you have to deal with that. It’s quite a generalization though. I understand the sentiment though, their lack of tolerance may be from being sheltered and secluded to like-minded people. It’s due to cultural relativism, the tendency to compare beliefs that differentiate from yours to your own and therefore, due to ethnocentrism, treat them as inefficient in comparison to yours. Perhaps reading about anthropology principles might help you feel a bit more understood.(:
