What's your opinion on the green man on King Charles's invitations?

On the bottom of the invitations there's a green man. Although a common feature in old churches he's more usually associated with paganism. Unsurprisingly this has raised a few eyebrows.

Meanwhile in reality the green man, at least at the present time, which by the way is the only relevant time frame to examine because it is the one in which this is all taking place, is most closely associated with the natural world, this is obviously the context and reference being made here as Charles is known for work in this field (lols field) and to a lesser degree 'Treebeard' from Lord of the Rings.

Why not? It's not like the previous two King Charles's were exactly geniuses.

He wants his "sacred oath" to be "defender of faith" instead of "Defender of The Faith" - otherwise known as Spiritual head of the Church of England.

Basically in the last ten years America and Britain have been fighting over who was dumbest with each saying "hold my beer" alternately. I guess after the best they could offer was two old farts in their seventies arguing over who should control the largest nuclear arsenal in the world for four years, Britain had to up the stakes by putting a guy in his seventies at the top for the rest of his life.

Pop's if you take out the pagan influences from European culture, there would be nothing left !!! The very ethos of what is european christianity is Catholicism with pagan sentiments, like there is no idols allowed, or no eating pork, shellfish by the book, even calling the sabbath Sunday, has roots in the sun God Ra, etc, etc. But I think Charlie, should be given a break. When he started out he was like a rock star till the Di saga totally mucked him. But I always thought the guy had conscience, now he seems to have made a good start, so I think we need to give him an open mind , at least.

I think it would be awesome if King Charles put RICK ASTLEY on his invitations. Rick Astley is never going to give you up or let you down like Boris Johnson Also, Rick Astley is never going to say goodbye like Queen Elizabeth or tell a lie and hurt you like Liz Truss did.
