By observable data it appears things are not going well but I have so much peace in my spirit that I believe God is taking care of my situation.
Yes, it's a common phrase to "trust your gut" or "listen to your intuition" even when the situation may not seem favorable or clear. It's important to take a holistic approach when making decisions, considering both external factors and internal feelings and instincts. It's possible that your peace in your spirit is a sign of inner wisdom or guidance, but it's also important to stay grounded and aware of any red flags or warning signs in the situation. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide what to trust and how to move forward.

Sometimes allowing your soul to take the drivers wheel helps. Before I moved to CT, my mom thought I was insane. She was worried, which is understandable. But inside my heart, I knew this was the right path. If I hadn't moved to CT, i wouldn't have met great people and learned more on becoming a better person than I was long ago. If it feels right, then follow it. If it feels bad, don't. Another example is, back in Illinois, this hooker wanted to come inside my motel room. There was a gut wrenching pain in my stomach like I'd been shot. I avoided any future interactions with her. Which of course, aggravated her. As I found out later, she has Johns mugged.
Yes.
Although the gut feeling is all about not looking for it, and recognizing it as soon as it happens.
If one didn't get a gut feeling for something and has to think about it consciously, then a very similar feeling can manifest from the ego / conscious mind which emulates that gut feeling and can throw one off.
Alternatively, the power of suggestion from another can implant a false "gut feeling" at times.
