Do you believe the ideal person is well rounded and not obsessed with money or beauty or fitness?

I know rich guys who worked 14 or 20 hour days and I know guys who did 8-20 hours of cardio in one day that are the richest of the rich in the banking jobs in Asia, but when I tried to copy ambitious people in my family, I realized I had massive warnings from the God of the bible. I'm a moderate person - I spend a little time on money - a little time on friendship - a little time on religion - a little time on chores - and a brief time on weight loss.

I don't believe God wants somebody to work 14 hour days, even if hard work is a virtue. Fashion models obsess over calories and don't use it as a healthy side hobby like your average college volley ball player. CEOs work 18 hour days and not the 4-8 hours that happy people work. Gluttons eat 9 times the calories that park athletes eat. So I think we are meant to be moderate and not to be sacrificial. Even religion can be a source of extremism and a driver of corruption. I've seen it happen.
