You can't make out from so far, also you need little more close and detail shots. I think I have seen this type of caterpillar, and from what I can see it may be the "One-eyed Sphinx moth caterpillar".
For now, it's a green Caterpillar. Later, it will evolve into a moth... what kind of moth? I don't know.
I'd hate to use the old cliché & I'm not trying to be funny, but... a green one?

it is certainly the child of the blue caterpillar that alice spoke with. ma was yellow.
It might be one of those Moth caterpillars. They're green like that.
Possibly Amphipyra pyramidea, can't say for sure though.

I tend to agree. I've seen this type of caterpillar and moth (Eurasian Copper Underwing) before in Ontario.

It looks like it could be a cabbage looper caterpillar they eat away at all of the cabbage family plants.
