If somebody succeeds, how do you know if it’s luck or if it’s God’s blessing?

I know somebody who had a really hard life but they kept their pain hidden from almost everyone and they married a very rich banker who is totally devoted to her and her kids and who helps around the house and now she is a house wife who spends all her waking hours serving people she loves. She used to volunteer at a house of worship in her youth because her mother was religious and forced her to volunteer. Maybe that factored into her success and maybe that did not, but she is very devoted to her family, especially her children.

I'm going to discuss karma, for a moment, it that suits you.

I've seen enough examples of good begetting good, and vice versa, to not dismiss the concept of karma.

Luck happens, too. Sometimes that luck is made by the previous actions of a person.

And then, there is the grace of God.

I'll take any help I can get in this world.

How could you ever tell the difference? What is the difference? If it's God's blessing, isn't that lucky too? Plenty of non-believers are like me are very fortunate, while many very devout people struggle. Has God blessed me and my athiest friends?

I believe two factors that determine success are causal sequencing and luck. Sequencing is based on moral, intellectual and personal choices that do not harm or injure another. Some can prosper through sequencing because they earned it, even if they do not retain a religion in their perceptive of the world because sequencing is moral and morality is the arm of the divine, even for those that do not worship the divine.

on some level its always luck because u can do everything right and still fail

i read a book by old Beyonces manager and its not her that got her the platform to succeed, there were a lot of dynamics behind it. if not for her being in a group maybe wed never heard of her
