i know 100% there's no god and no i dont cause i have empathy and i'm not a bitch. you know the vast vast majority of atheists are nice and normal. being atheist doesn't make people psychopaths. humans anyways are wired biologically to have some degree of compassion and empathy, and being prosocial and not degenerate serial killers. people who think you can't be moral without religion scare me... like does it mean that if you didn't have the fear of hell you'd be a dick or even a criminal?

That's hard for me to answer because with the definition of God as I've come to understand it, that would totally change my world view.

I guess if I believed that right now, it would take a while before I started to do much of anything differently.

I don't believe in gods and never have. And I've never oppressed or abused people because I believed there were no consequences. Actually, I think atheists are potentially the most moral, not the least, because we don't live in fear of some human-created, imaginary entity that can punish us. I don't believe in karma, either. And it hasn't stopped me from being a decent person.
