We're trying to decide something that first requires intimate and extensive knowledge of Eldritch physiology , and its long term effects on our physiology.

Someone with epilepsy can die from a flashlight. And we're trying to decide God's behavior toward us? I don't think it's possible to give an informed answer to this question.

But since I can barely comprehend the complexities of either holiness or Eldritchism, I cannot claim how I would react to either. But I would probably, if I were a lesser deity, hide my glory from most. Unless they push me too far, and I believe vaporizing them is the only good option.

I would probably rather wander the Earth as Extirpon , than assume the throne of God. Because I wouldn't have to flash my glory too often. There'd be hundreds of other ways to foul up baddies. Or trap total a-holes in a nightmare for days. Or, on rare occasion, do something kind for someone who isn't a complete tool, and who does deserve to at least live their lives.
