They don't.

It's a myth that people "fight about religion".

What they actually fight about, is their opinions on faith, and their personal politics. You cannot fight about something you have no influence over. It's like fighting over weather.

Also, politics and ambition has killed more than anything else, short of disease and natural disasters, that is.

But they push blame onto "religion" as few people understand it. Just like fuckwits try and blame "immigrants" for everything, instead of their own kids and friends being more responsible.

Religion is clearly a complete fabrication with no basis in reality what so ever and tricking people into believing this nonsense is extremely dangerous and damaging, it should be challenged at every encounter.

It would be if it wore just talk. I don't care what other people choose to believe. But it's not. Religious communities often try to force others to live according to their religion. I do care when other people tell me what I can read, what I can do and when, interest in my medical decisions, push their religion in public schools...

Fighting about religion isn't pointless because religion seeks to mandate control over people on the basis of false and outright fabricated information. It is worth fighting for freedom from religion.

i referred to control. about "admitting wrong" thousands switch faiths, from orthodox jew to reform from jew to christian people admitted we were wrong and join. from islam to christian is common.

I already have a lot of hope, it doesn't do me much good but, I have a lot of it and I don't need religion to give it to me. I had hope that I was gonna get to keep m, y parents' house, as my religious mother wished but, my evil, greedy ex-sisters stole it from us and sold it so they could get more of mom's money they didn't deserve! The elder of the two of them lives and breathes the bible!! But, did god stop her from going against mom's last wishes? NOT ON YOUR LIFE!!! At the moment, I have hope that I'm not gonna lose THIS house, too!! It was built for my uber-religious grandmother and she left it to her very uber-religious daughter, my aunt, who left it to me when she died 2.5 years ago BUT, she mortgaged the place just before she died to give MORE money to her scammer buddies that had already taken her for over $11,000,000!!! God didn't do shit to stop her from throwing all her money away! God's not helping me one tiny little bit to see to it the house STAYS with me!! The bank is about to sue ME because THEY REFUSE to let ME pay back the mortgage!!
I've done LOTS of really good things for LOTS of people AND ANIMALS in my entire life and THIS is how god repays me for all my kind, unselfish, loving deeds?
I can get rapists to stop raping! Anytime one of them rapes someone, cut off his dick!! How many more rapists are gonna wanna risk losing their one true love because they chose to rape someone? Or, give them a sex change and then toss their ass in jail with Vinnie and Bubba! They'll keep a DEATH GRIP on that soap, then!!
