How can I become a christian?

I live in Turkey-Central Anatolia region which is pretty much Muslim and very conservative. As an ex-Muslim I have decided to become a christian after being an atheist, as I have done more research on Christianity I started to like it more, however my problem is there isn't any churches in my reach, the closest one is appr. 400 kilometers away from me at another region of Anatolia, what can I do? and how do I practice Christianity and expand my knowledge?

Anyways, you become a Christian by putting all your trust in the finish work of death and resurrection of Jesus Christ on behalf of your sins unto salvation.

Whoever calls on the name of the lord shall be saved.

It's a free gift from God by His grace.

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.

For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

Biblegateway. com has pretty much all the translations of the bible (NKJ, KJI etc) to read whichever one is best in line with your English skill. I'm not sure how good your reading is when it comes to more complicated text and archaic speech, so it could be nice to have the modern translations. Read that, find an online church you like on youtube, keeping in mind that the mormon chuch is actually a different religion so anything that's "church of latter day saints" is an offshoot. There's a lot less structure to Christianity than Islam, so it pretty much is accept Jesus as your savior, repent of your sins, boom your a Christian. Now have most christians read teh entire bible, no probably not. do i think you should have read your religious text in it's entirety, yeah, i personally do, but i've read the religious texts in their entirety for a number of religions, so maybe i'm the outlier. to become Christian the first step is faith not any ceremony but as @Paris13 summarized so well. going to church is external so in your situation skip that detail.

if you want to become Christian make time to read from new testament but not necessarily in order. chapter one can be a turnoff in this generation.

priority is the chapters in romans chapters eight until end of 12 one page each day in your language translation or English.

next gospel john chapters 19 to end.

after those the stories in matthew mark luke john and acts.

if you want moral direction then letters of paul are very good. if you want philosophy then other parts.

The lord Jesus Christ taught he brought a sword which means to divide and a man's enemies will be those of his household.

If your father can't accept you as a Christian which your salvation is at stake then your father has to go.
