How can I convert to christianity?

I was not born a Christian, my family believes in another religion but i want to be christian

Salvation is free through Jesus Christ.

All you need to do is call upon the name of the lord Jesus to save you and put your trust in Him for salvation.

Go get baptist in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, obey God's word and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Get yourself a New King James Bible and learn all that you have to learn.

With careful searching, you can get "fed" online. My wife is Philippine and attends Mass online often during the week. I am not Catholic, but I definitely have one foot in it. It is good to "belong".

I am actually Evangelical, but my home is ecumenical. I agree that some "communities" of Catholics lean toward paganism, while others conduct it like the local Bible Church with Bible Studies and such. Some Seventh Day Adventists lean toward Ellen White while others just skip the pork and clams. Mormons, however, are a cult.

Maybe try a proper religion instead. But the main thing here is your reason why, and what family and friends you have to support you. If you're the only Muslim/Christian/Jew etc in the area then you're going to struggle in general.

But if you're also just going to do it to be "cool" or "in" with the friend group, then that too is going to make you struggle.

Atheists and deniers don't really matter in that regard as they are like parasites and thieves on the subject. In that case you are better to be the only Jew/Muslim/Christian in the area,

believe and genuinely accept God into your heart as your lord and savior if your able join a church though if there isn't a church near you that you can go to you can worship the lord from your house. Church after all did just use to take place in someone's home or in town square, wherever there was room. It's not restricted to a singular building.

And of course becoming baptized, born again when your feel ready spiritually. Also having a bible preferably the king James version as it's the most accurate.

Istanbul is too far for me, and I can't go right now, and even if I go, I have to do it secretly, because my family is Muslim and I know they will be angry

And they'd likely find out pretty quickly (or I suspect they would). You could still get in contact with one of the churches and get advice on how to proceed. They probably deal with situations like this on a regular basis.

And like I said earlier, I am a Catechist, which means I can teach the faith. And I would be glad to help.

Personally, I do not believe in any religion since all are man-made constructs created by a few (i. e., the clergy) to control the lives and thoughts of followers through fear & intimidation (i. e., do this or you'll be damned) and a lot of times, through wars.

All I can say is, if you feel the need to be part of a religion, then pick a passive one with few, if any, supernatural dogma. I would suggest looking into are Buddhism, Taoism, & perhaps few of the Paleopaganism or neopaganism sects.

You won't find any peace with those. Even those religions know that Jesus is the only way. Also you say there's rules to follow, yeah that's true but God also allows grace and mercy if we sin. Doesn't mean you go out and sin all day long amd ask for forgiveness, it just means that you try to be a better person everyday. Also we're not at war with the flesh, we're at war with the unseen spiritual world

@Bananas83 I've been through it a few times. Granted, it is a good collections of stories to do what it's authors intended for it to do, allow the clergy complete control of follower lives and thoughts to the point of no free will and not able to make their own choices beyond what the stories tell you. Almost all the stories are versions of other stories in folklore and more ancient religions that has came and went. As for any "morals" in the stories, nothing more than common sense perverted to the story's context.
