I have converted to Christianity recently, what to do now?

About a week ago I have converted to Christianity. Where I live it's not possible to go to Church and the surroundings are hostile to the non-state religion. I live in the Middle East. Now the question is that how do I proceed, what do I do. Do I read the Bible, what is the Gospel? Can I eat Halal meat? - Kindly help me out.

Correct read the bible, start with book romans chapter 8 to 12, first.

also stories of Jesus for example book luke i recommend first.

Gospel means a few meanings, 1 the name of a bbook.2, Also the idea that jesus died to pay for our sins and defeated death to show he was not just a man oonly. see book 1 Corinthians 15 for the idea called gospel , version means translation.

Pray, read the bible, do your own worship at home since church isn't an option where you live as you can attend mass online and yes you can eat whatever you want to Christianity doesn't have dietary restrictions like Islam does but if it's safer where you are at to adhere to the Islamic dietary restrictions then do that.

Other then that live a godly and just life. I would recommend reading the king james version of the bible as it is the most accurate one.

It depends on which kind of christian you’ve become. I would recommend just having a daily devotional from the bible every morning. You can still eat halal if you want to, the bible supports not eating pork but you’re allowed to do so if you want in a majority of cases.

Reading the bible and surrounding yourself with other Christians is extremely important. You can still eat halal meat and all that stuff. If you can find a local group of Christians, or even something online, that will make your journey much easier.

Get the old King James version of the Bible, not the new edited/changed version.

Oh, and since you are new, you need to know that Catholics are NOT Christian. They do many things against what the original King James Bible says God wants.

You need to get baptized and try to find genuine saved christians to attend church with.

You can watch mass online. Eventually, you'd need to be baptized, but it's a good place to start.

Need? But baptism is automatic to all who believe as written "we were all baptized in one spirit" we see all even if not live by a river.
Also paul specified not to baptise water a couple times, "i was not sent to baptized! NOT. I am glad i only baptized 2 people " he didn't baptized many because not needed.
Also the criminals on cross by jesus he guaranteed them heaven by faith they did not "need" baptism water. Insted by faith they were baptized by spirit. "By faith you got the baptism of spirit."

Well, yeah, maybe "need" isn't the right word, because baptism by faith alone is possible, but I do believe it’s preferable to be baptized if he can someday. Jesus himself was baptized and instructed his disciples to baptize others. And, if he ever lives somewhere where he can join a church, water baptism is practiced by the vast majority of denominations.
