This man I work with says he knows how to hypnotize people. And I’m referring to the real thing. He’s not hitting on me. What do you think?

What kind of people can hypnotize others? Is it a spiritual thing? A gift from God? What? I’m not going into the whole story why I know his ability to do this and how it came up in conversation between us. I haven’t experienced it with him, but he’s a straight to the point, intelligent man who wasn’t bullshitting.

It's not a spiritual thing at all (well, not inherently, anyway); it's an ability (that can be learned as a skill) to enable people to more easily slip into a suggestible trance state, which is something that people go into and out of every day anyway. It's very real, but it's not mind control, or anything like it.

not everyone is able to be hypnotized. there are tests that you can look for online and do yourself to see.

that is a skill learned by study and practice not natural nor god spiritual.

Hypnotherapy is helpful to a lot of people. Hypnotherapist can do that.
