People who believe that we have spirits. are our spirits smart as we were 1 year or adult, does the it depends on the size of brain the spirit gets?

When you die every information of you brain get lost. The spirit is like the bios, it modifies every living cycle slightly but it doesn't store any information from brain like memories of feelings. However when a spirit starts a new living cycle it gives start parameters to mind of reincarnated body. Of course those parameters have an exponential influence on a mind in its development. That's why there are old experienced spirits (souls) with lots of former living cycles and young ones which don't have that much experience and their intuition is wrong or doesn't exist at all.

It's not what I believe, I think when it's over it's over. However someone who believes in reincarnation explained me this in this way
